Oct 4 – 6, 2019 – Bellingham, MA (Boston)
Oct 4 – this morning, Nancy got everything ready to go into Boston to meet her girlfriends for the weekend. Getting ready also means preparing meals for me so I don’t starve! She’s the best! I was going to take her downtown, but she wanted to take the commuter train in to Boston so I didn’t have to fight the traffic and so she could arrive on public transportation like everyone else. So I took her to the train station about 3 miles away and watched her board. She sent me a text a little while later to let me know she made to the hotel right on schedule.
After Nancy left, I went to give the truck a good cleaning……it really needed it. I also checked out the new iPhone……I think I’ll wait and reconsider when the 5G product comes out…..hopefully in the spring. When I got home, I took Frisco for a walk and then made some dinner (sandwich).
The weather has been cloudy most of the day but it cleared by late afternoon and ended with clear blue skies. Tomorrow is supposed to be absolutely beautiful with sunny sky and temps in the high 50’s. It definitely feels like fall here.
Oct 5 – this morning I got a couple things at Home Depot and headed to Plymouth, MA, to visit Plymouth Rock. I heard it was a very underwhelming thing to see but what the heck…..we’re in the area. The weather today was absolutely gorgeous sky and temps in the 60’s. I have to say that even though the “Rock” itself was underwhelming, it was cool to be near the place where the Pilgrims landed in 1620. Frisco and I really enjoyed walking around the town.

Oct 6 – Today I did some exterior maintenance on Alice. Later in the afternoon, I kicked back with an adult beverage and watched some football. Looking forward to Nancy getting back in the morning!
