10/12/2018- Moriarity to Mars, then to Carlsbad Caverns

Today we headed south to Roswell, NM. We got there at about 12:30 and headed straight for the UFO Museum. It  was a bit of a letdown, but there were a lot of authentic-looking documents that raised the possibility that maybe…just maybe….we are not alone in the universe.  Walked a little in downtown , checked out the museum, and then went back to Alice to head to Carlsbad Caverns.

We pulled into Whites City, NM, just outside the entrance to Carlsbad Caverns NP, at about 4pm. We checked into the Whites City RV Park, got setup and relaxed at home for the evening. Tomorrow we will spend most of the day at the Caverns.  Haven’t made any decision yet on where we will go after that.
