8/17/2018 – Polson, MT
After a quiet, relaxing morning, I played golf at the Polson Bay Country Club while Nancy did a few things around the RV and went for a bike ride. We both got back around 4. I had to deal with a problem with the Dish Winegard system while Nancy made a great spaghetti dinner. It’s still my favorite meal. Tomorrow, we plan to ride around exploring the Flathead Lake area. We have a couple good idea’s on things to do but we haven’t committed to anything yet.
The Polson Bay Country Club was very nice. The course borders Flathead Lake and the Rockies, which provides a spectacular backdrop on most of the golf holes…..but the smoke in the area really reduces the visibility. On a clear day, the views on the golf course would be absolutely stunning. Their were also some beautiful houses on the golf course that overlook the lake and mountains. I played with a 82 year old retired gentleman that lives on the golf course. He has lived his whole life in Alaska and Montana.
If you have a “Wine” guard on your dish system, no wonder you’re having problems. Who could possibly watch the evening news these days without a glass of wine??
