8/5/2018 – Columbia Falls, MT

Got into Columbia Falls, MT, at about 2pm. They only had one lane at the border so it took us about 45 minutes to get through Customs coming back into the US. We have a very nice site at the Columbia Falls RV Resort for the next 10 days. From here, we can explore Glacier NP,  Columbia Falls, Whitefish, and Kalispell.  It is still “the season” here so we expect things to be fairly crowded.

Not much else going on today. We’re heading to the Kalispell airport at about 9:30pm to pick up Nancy’s son Phil. He’s a 1st Lt. in the Army stationed in Hawaii. He flew to New Orleans to attend a good friends bachelor party Thursday. He’s now coming here for 4 days, then he goes back to Dallas for the wedding, then to Gulf Shores, AL, for a family reunion, then back to Hawaii…..now that’s what I call a hectic travel schedule!
