Everyday so far, Nancy and I have been up between 6 – 6:30. I pour the coffee and we check the news and talk about our plan for the day. We usually have breakfast right here, but occasionally we go out. After breakfast, usually around 10am, we start the day’s activities. Today, we made another trip to Banff to get a closer look at the golf course, visit Bow Falls, and do a little shopping for a t-shirt. We took our bikes to get around town. We didn’t have any luck finding t-shirt but we had a very nice lunch at The Bears Den. We got our first pizza since we left Springboro and it was really good. When we got back, Nancy did the laundry and made a great grilled salmon dinner. I tried to mount a small basket to the back of the pantry door but I was not nearly as successful with that as Nancy was with the laundry and our dinner. After dinner we took Frisco to a dog park and visited the Nordic Center that served as the venue for some of the Calgary winter Olympics events.
Frisco went for a swim in Dog Lake and got pretty dirty…..so I had to hose her down and dry her before she was allowed in the RV. Now we are both settling in to read a book. We are moving to a creekside site tomorrow so not sure if we will do much else. Nancy has already met our new neighbors.
I’d also like to give a shout out to the breakfast club at My Favorite Muffin back home in Centerville, OH. Hope you all are doing well. I miss seeing you guys, and look forward to catching up with everyone when we return to the area in November.
